1. The Waldorf Astoria New York

This Historical Hotel of America was founded in 1893 by William Waldorf Astor and John Jacob Astor. It used to be on Fifth Avenue at the current site of the Empire State Building. In 1931 they moved to their present location which is now an Art Deco Landmark.

2. The Peabody Memphis

Since 1932, seven years after they opened in 1925, the Peabody Memphis has engaged in the ‘March of the Ducks.’ A line of ducks is led from the rooftop top the fountain in the lobby via the hotel’s elevator. The ducks swim around in the fountain throughout the day.

3. Flamingo Las Vegas

This reasonably priced accommodation is one of the first three hotels built on the Strip by the Mafia in 1946. However today it is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. They still maintain the original Art Deco theme inspired by Miami, Florida, including the live flamingos.

4. Beverly Wilshire - A Four Seasons Hotel

This opulently appointed complex is one of the finest luxury resorts in the world. It is also the place where they filmed the movie “Pretty Woman” starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Their Michelin rated five star restaurant and organic spa are a minutes walk from the shopping on Rodeo Drive.

5. Andaz West Hollywood - A Hyatt Hotel

The Andaz was formerly known as the Continental Hyatt House aka the ‘Riot House.’ In the golden days of rock and roll, all of the stars partied there all the time. Former occupants include Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, and the Doors -- until Jim Morrison was kicked out for dangling himself from the balcony.
